How To Look Good When Traveling

Keep it simple – jeans, sweaters, snickers and flat shoes. Keep it neutral – white, black, blue. A good, tailored, functional blazer and a white T-shirt always work. Imagine the 90s. Aim for comfort but not the kind you would ‘do’ at home. Whatever you do, avoid high heels. And Adidas tracksuits.

What It Really Means To Live Out Your Values

Two Methods for Making Hard Decisions

If you feel stuck on a decision and want to get clear on what to do, try a 10-10-10 decision-making method that sounds like this: how will this decision impact my life in 10 minutes, in 10 months, in 10 years? How do the predicted outcomes align with what you want? (note: know your values first)

Then, use the Whole Body Method by scanning your head, chest (heart) and gut area. You are looking for signals that say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ (a ‘no’ might be easier to identify feeling like a contraction).

Different kind of crying at work

Crying at work is typically deemed incompetent – with a caveat. If a person cries because they are deeply invested in their work a.k.a. passionate, they can get away with it. This is why we don’t judge top performers like Novak Djokovic or Aryna Sabalenka for being ‘too emotional’ when they cry after losing a game.
